Description:

The amaryllis, popular as a cold weather beauty, has been described as showy and voluptuous! Many tropical and subtropical bulbs thrive in Florida, and amaryllis is one of them. A favorite among gardeners, they are considered tough, reliable bulbs that require little care. In this workshop, participants will learn about amaryllis, blooming in the winter, and how to transfer them to your garden after they have cheered the home. Participants will leave with an amaryllis plant and instructions for continued blooms. $20 per individual.
