Orange County Commissioner Jennifer Thompson to Distribute Backpacks to Families in Need
Orange County, FL – August 4, 2014 – Orange County Commissioner Jennifer Thompson will be distributing school supplies and backpacks to families throughout South and Southeast Orange County on Saturday, August 9th.
Over the past four years, Commissioner Thompson has distributed supplies to thousands of families throughout her district each year. “No matter how much the economy continues to improve, there are still families who are struggling to make ends meet,” states Thompson. “Being able to provide help is testament to our community and to our collective desire to lend a hand to those who need it.”
Commissioner Thompson will be distributing backpacks to families at two different locations on Saturday, August 9.
