Orange County, FL – Mayor Teresa Jacobs will host the 2013 Orange County Economic Summit this week at the Orange County Convention Center. The summit is an opportunity for business leaders and community stakeholders to discuss Orange County’s expanding economy, efforts to recruit new businesses and job creation.
University of Central Florida economist Dr. Sean Snaith will deliver his annual update to an audience of community and business leaders. The summit also features an expert panel discussion with representatives from key industries and areas of interest. Panelists include: Workforce Central Florida President and CEO Pamela Nabors, President of the Florida Realtors Dean Asher, Metro Orlando EDC President Rick Weddle, and Orange County School Board Chair Bill Sublette. Other presenters will give updates on healthcare reform and Orange County’s modeling, simulation and training industry.
