Mayor Jacobs to Participate in Grand Opening Ceremony for Titan Products of Puerto Rico Distribution Center
Orange County, FL – Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs will provide special remarks and participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow to officially inaugurate the new Titan Products of Puerto Rico Distribution Center in Orlando. This 40,000 square foot facility will serve supermarkets and stores throughout Florida with a line of brands consisting of over 200 products that include frozen foods, grains, and non-perishable goods.
“We are excited to welcome Titan Products to Orange County. These are foods that many of our residents grew up enjoying, so Central Florida is a natural place from which to expand Titan’s growth into the Florida market,” said Mayor Jacobs. “Today’s opening means more economic development in our community and attests to the vitality of our current business environment. We look forward to welcoming many more business partners from Puerto Rico interested in growing here.”
Titan Products of Puerto Rico is a subsidiary of Empresas Barsan, a Puerto Rico-based and family-owned company founded 31 years ago. Specializing in the production of frozen foods, Empresas Barsan is the largest company of its kind in Puerto Rico, serving stores in Florida and the Dominican Republic.
