Community Action Centers have cancelled all senior programming until further notice.

Property Appraiser

Orange County Property Appraiser’s downtown office lobby is closed to visitors, and staff is working remotely. Field Appraisers are permitted to visit residential properties but are not engaging with taxpayers and are equipped with virus mitigation and sanitizing supplies. The customer service phone line (407-836-5044) and website ( with a chat feature are available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Tax Collector’s Office

The Tax Collector’s Office is open to the public by appointment only. Visit to schedule an appointment. Please review the screening questions at

Online services: Many services, including driver license renewals, vehicle registration renewals, property and business tax payments, title transactions, and disabled parking permit applications may be completed online, by email or by mail. Visit to learn more.

Clerk of Courts and Courthouse

The Orange County Clerk’s Office has expanded limited access to more Clerk services. In order to limit capacity in lobbies, appointments can now be scheduled for the following services and locations:

  • Marriage License & Ceremonies – Downtown Courthouse, Winter Park, Apopka, Ocoee
  • Passport Applications – Downtown Courthouse, Winter Park, Apopka, Ocoee
  • Self Help Center Virtual Attorney Appointments – Downtown Courthouse

Accessing the Courthouse

Remember you will need to wear a mask and undergo a health screening before you can enter the courthouse. If you are not feeling well or have been potentially exposed to COVID-19, please contact the courthouse at for information on how to reschedule your hearing date or appointment.

  1. Only employees, litigants, victims, witnesses, counsel and folks headed to clerk’s offices will be admitted to the building. No friends or family will be admitted. (Effective January 11, 2021)
  2. Only essential matters and other in-person hearings pursuant to the Florida Supreme Court AOSC20-23 (Amendment 8) will be permitted as of January 19, 2021.

Jury Service

Jury trials will resume beginning Monday, February 15. Check www.NinthCircuit.Org/Jurors for reporting information.

Because of the need for social distancing, please do not bring family members on your reporting date. Be sure to request to be excused if you have a valid COVID-19 reason or qualify for one of the excusals listed on your summons.


Under some circumstances, eviction proceedings have resumed. Please refer to the court documents you were mailed for specific instructions. Always consult an attorney for legal advice.

Parks and Senior Centers

As of April 5, all Orange County Parks and Recreation facilities as well as senior centers are open at 50% capacity.

All County-run Parks programs remain suspended, except for after-school and summer camps.

If you plan to visit a park or trail, please observe the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) recommendations:

  • Follow CDC’s guidance on personal hygiene — wash hands, carry hand sanitizer, do not use trails if you have symptoms, cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, etc.
  • Observe at all times CDC’s minimum recommended social distancing of six feet from other people.
  • Warn other trail users of your presence and as you pass to allow proper distance and step off trails to allow others to pass, keeping minimum recommended distances at all times. Signal your presence with your voice, bell or horn.
  • Bring water or drinks.
