Fixin’ Up the Neighborhood Project

Orange County, FL – Commissioner Pete Clarke along with Orange County Neighborhood Preservation & Revitalization Division, have selected the Conway Acres Neighborhood for this year’s “Fixin-up-the-Neighborhood Project” (F.U.N.).

Each year, an Orange County Neighborhood is identified in a low to moderate income area where owner-occupied homes are in need of painting and minor exterior repairs. The F.U.N. program is designed to give a fresh facelift to the neighborhood, while promoting a sense of pride and unity among the residents. This project is a collaborative effort with local community sponsors, volunteers, faith-based organizations, and neighborhood businesses.

F.U.N. provides a way for homeowners to receive this assistance for their homes absolutely free of charge. The home painting begins Monday, August 12th to Friday, August 16th concluding with a community clean up on Saturday, August 17th. For more information about the program, please contact Orange County Neighborhood Preservation & Revitalization Division at (407) 836-5606.
