The Palm Parkway to Apopka-Vineland Connector Road project involves the construction of a new four-lane divided, urban roadway from South Apopka-Vineland Road to the Palm Parkway/Daryl Carter Parkway intersection. The total project length is approximately 1.6 miles and includes widening along Palm Parkway and Apopka-Vineland Road for the intersection turn lanes. The project includes bike lanes, signalization improvements and landscaping. Eight-foot sidewalks are included in some sections with the majority of sidewalk to be added by property owners at the time of development per agreement.
This new roadway will provide additional capacity and a new connection between South Apopka Vineland Road and Palm Parkway.
