There is a right and a wrong way to get rid of your syringes. Don’t throw them in the trash. Take them to your nearest County Fire Station instead. Your fire station has a special container for used needles which can be returned between 8 am to 8 pm seven days a week. This service is entirely free. Used needles and syringes can transmit hepatitis, HIV, AIDS and other fatal disease. So be safe.
