If you're a person with HIV, live in Lake, Orange, Osceola or Seminole County and can't afford proper care, we may be able to help. We receive federal funds to assist with paying for expensive HIV treatment, housing, and care for those living in the four county area. To get started, schedule an eligibility appointment with one of the service providers and they can help get you started.
Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A (RWHAP), Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE), and Housing Opportunity for Persons With HIV/AIDS (HOPWA) programs have established eligibility for services.
For services under the Ryan White program eligibility must be established and certified every year or twelve (12) months by a Referral Specialist or Early Intervention Specialist. During the re-certification for Ryan White services, a self-attestation form can be signed if no reported changes.
EHE and HOPWA services are coordinated through the assigned Case Manager. Some assistance under the HOPWA Program require proof of need and more details can be found at www.ocfl.net/HIVHousing. Contact a Case Manager for more information.
