Are you brave enough to walk, run or swim into Kelly Park's Rock Springs on New Year's Day 2020? Join in the fun on Wednesdays, January 1, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., for the southern version of a polar bear plunge into crisp 68-degree water (registration begins 10 a.m. with waves of participants jumping in every 20 minutes, beginning at 10:30 a.m.); afterward, warm up at the fire with a coffee or hot chocolate. Cost is regular park admission fees: $3 per vehicle for 1 - 2 people; $5 per vehicle for 3 - 8 people; and $1 per additional person, walk-in, motorcycle or bike. Tubes will be available to rent from vendor outside of park and concession stand will be open.

Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, states that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by a board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at a meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
