Orange TV Production Requests

Orange TV (OTV) produces government programming that is broadcast on Orange County Government Access channels, Orange TV and Vision TV. Launched in 1995, OTV’s top priorities are to provide residents with mission-critical, gavel-to-gavel coverage as well as emergency communications when needed for residents and visitors alike. Requests for Orange TV production services are limited to government related meetings, forums, summits, conferences and events intended to be broadcast on the Orange County Government television stations and/or distributed countywide to Orange County employees. Partisan political events or other political programming are not eligible for broadcast by Orange TV. Orange TV must receive a completed OTV Production Request Form for each production requested at least 30 (thirty) days prior to the event date.

Event Production

Once the Event Production Request Form is received, OTV will review its production schedule and determine whether it will be able to provide the requested services based on availability of personnel, equipment, and the program’s content. Certain productions may require the requesting party to provide additional AV equipment such as additional stage lighting for TV, projection screens, video projectors, PA systems, and pipe and drape.

Official County events that arise unexpectedly may affect availability and you will be notified in advance if the schedule changes.

Production will be scheduled only after receipt of this completed form. Parking MUST be provided by requesting agency or organization. OTV staff MUST maintain full control of all video and audio mixing and camera and microphone placement at all events, conferences, forums, symposiums, panels, award ceremonies, summits and meetings.

News Segment Production

Orange TV also produces short news segments about programs and services that may be of interest to Orange County residents or visitors for broadcast on Orange TV and Vision TV. If you wish to submit a story idea for consideration by the Orange County Communications Division editorial team, please outline your request by completing the News Segment Production Request Form.

Complete the Event Production Request Form or the News Segment Production Request Form in their entirety to ensure your request is received. Should you need assistance, please contact Mike Seif at Mike.Seif@ocfl.net or call 407-685-9097.

All requests and emails will become part of Orange County public record. In compliance with "Government in the Sunshine" laws, Orange County Government must make available, upon request, any and all information not deemed a threat to the security of law enforcement agencies and personnel.
