• Fort Christmas Historical Park's FREE Barnyard Banter Historical and Educational Programs are suitable for all ages! On Saturday, January 25, and Sunday, January 26, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., come to the park for the Orange County 4-H Practice Show: see youth prepare for a 4-H (head, heart, hands, health) show through a learn-by-doing approach that helps them gain the knowledge and skills they need to be responsible, productive citizens.
• Any hands-on activities are limited to ages 6 years and older for the safety of participants. This is a FREE program, open to the public. Questions? Call our staff: 407-254-9310.

On the third Saturday of each month, a program is offered for free and is open to the public. Parents and children or grandparents and grandchildren will enjoy learning together about how things were done in the past. Schedule date or class subject matter may change without notice due to weather, speaker availability or other unforeseen circumstance.

With the exception of ADA service animals, no pets are permitted in Fort Christmas Historical Park. Alcohol is prohibited in the park.

Tours and Special Events

• The historic homes, school and fort are open daily, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., including holidays.
• The park includes a replica of a fort built in 1837 during the Second Seminole Indian War; a traditional Florida "Cracker" house and eight pioneer homes; a schoolhouse and lunchroom; a sugar cane mill and other historical farming equipment.
