Orange County Fire Rescue offers free home fire safety checks and smoke alarm installations.
To protect your family from fire:
- Install Smoke Alarms:
- In every bedroom
- Outside each separate sleeping area
- On every level of your home
- Test your smoke alarms monthly
- Replace all smoke alarms when they are over 10 years old or do not sound when tested
