Vacant Lots

It is Orange County Code that vacant lots must be maintained by the owner. If the owner fails to do so, we at Orange County have the right to clean the lot for the owner at the owner's expense. Unmaintained lots consist of:

  • Grass/Weed height that is or exceeds 18'.
  • Storage of trash, debris, junk or non-living plant material that is within eyesight.

We will put a lien on your property if you fail to pay the bill.
