The transportation network serving the Innovation Way region will include a variety of transportation facilities including existing and proposed roadways.
When property owners and developers approach Orange County to rezone or develop portions of the Innovation Way region a series of County processes are in place which include:
This ensures the necessary roadway infrastructure is included as part of the overall development approval.
The Innovation Way Interchange Phase II - Beachline Interchange is a regionally significant transportation facility providing east Orange County with a much needed mobility option and forms a critical link in the overall Innovation Way corridor.
In March of 2006 a public/private agreement was approved between the Orange County Board of County Commissioners, Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority (OOCEA) and the developers of the International Corporate Park (ICP).
Then, the property owned by ICP went through a change in ownership. The new owner, Suburban Land Reserve, Inc. (SLR) is working on a new agreement between Orange County Board of County Commissioners and the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority.

“RCA” stands for Roadway Conceptual Analysis. It’s the process through which Orange County confirms the need to improve a road. At the heart of all Orange County RCAs you’ll find a fascinating mixture of scientific data and feedback from residents. With the approval of the Board of County Commissioners, an RCA project moves forward with final design, right-of-way acquisition and construction.
