Orange County has begun the second phase to the International Drive Transit Feasibility and Alternative Technology Assessment (TFATA). In this phase, the county will partner with Lynx and the consultant to complete the project and environmental requirements necessary to request entry into the Federal Transit Administration grant program.
The study will provide a technical evaluation of International Drive from Sea Harbor Drive to Sand Lake Road as well as parts of Destination Parkway and Sea Harbor Drive to compete all preliminary engineering and environmental requirements to request entry into FTA Capital Investment Grant Small Starts Program.
Orange County has partnered with Lynx to prepare a solicitation for this phase. Through a competitive procurement process a consultant will be selected to complete this phase.
The scope includes the development of a Public Involvement Plan including coordination with the local stakeholders and residents through a public meeting.
