Tradeshow Boulevard will be widened from a two to four-lane roadway, from Destination Parkway to Universal Boulevard. The purposed design will include 11-foot-wide travel lanes, two in each direction separated by a raised median. The widened roadway will have two 12-foot-wide transit lanes, a truck staging lane, and 10-foot-wide shared-use path on both sides of the road for pedestrians and bicyclists. The project will incorporate drainage improvements, lighting, landscaping, and signalization.
Tradeshow Boulevard is being widened to improve safety, enhance traffic operation, and improve transit connectivity along the corridor.
Design began in August 2022, and will be in general accordance with the Roadway Conceptual Analysis completed in 2021. This project will require right-of-way acquisition for the roadway improvements.
