Orange County has initiated a traffic calming study for the Wedgefield area to identify improvements that could enhance safety and bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. The study is evaluating the area’s transportation infrastructure to help create a safer environment for drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists.
The purpose of the study is to identify and prioritize recommended traffic calming and infrastructure improvements within the Wedgefield area. Community feedback will help Orange County better understand transportation concerns and prioritize potential improvements that support the safety of drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists.
The traffic calming study is currently underway. Orange County is gathering community input to help identify and prioritize recommended improvements.
Orange County will hold a public meeting to share information about the Wedgefield Area Traffic Calming Study and gather feedback from the community.
