Bill Pay Site Frequently Asked Questions

If I don’t have an online profile, can I still make a payment online?

Yes, there is a new guest payment option available! However, creating a profile will allow you to take advantage of the other site features.

The system will let you know if you need to create a new profile or not when you log in with your previous username. In all cases, you will need to update your password with a new, more secure one. Creating a new profile is fast and easy to do.

We implemented a new self-service solution to enhance our customer’s experience. As a best practice and added security for our customers, you will need to update your password the first time you log in to the new system.

No. All existing Easy Pay (bank) and Auto Pay (credit card) customers have been seamlessly transferred over to our new system, and both programs now fall under Auto Pay. If you already have a login profile, then you will be prompted to create a new, more secure password. Banking information is displayed under Auto Pay.

For your protection, our customer service representatives no longer have the ability to take private payment information over the phone. However, payments can be made using our enhanced automated phone system at 407-836-5515.

For credit/debit cards: card number, expiration date, billing zip code, and (for credit cards only) the CVV number commonly found on the back next to your signature. For e-checks, you’ll need the account and routing numbers from your checking account. For all options, you will also need your Orange County Utilities account number. If you do not have your account number handy, please call from the phone number associated with your account so the system can access that information.

Although we do not have direct access to help you navigate through the automated phone system, we can verify that you have the correct account number and you are calling from the phone number associated with your account. Calling from the phone number associated with your account allows our system to directly access your account information for a better experience.

Any of our customer service representatives will be happy to help you navigate through the process of creating a new login profile, updating your profile, explaining how you can make a payment, adding a new payment source to your wallet, or using any of the many other online services. We are available by phone weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

No. More ways to pay are described above.

You can still pay at one of these participating locations; however, payments made to any of our associated third-party companies may take three to five days to transfer to our system. Yes.

If you have received a higher than normal bill due to perhaps a leak, pool fill, watering a new lawn, back-billing of service, or any other unforeseen issue, (only) the person named on the account may come to our office to make a partial payment and sign a document setting up a payment arrangement for the remaining balance. If you can't come to our office, one of our supervisors can go over your account with you over the phone.

If an account has entered into a delinquent status, the full balance payment will be required through any of our new enhanced payment systems.

Although Orange County Utilities staff is not able to take payments over the phone, please remember that our customer service representatives and their supervisors are more than happy to review your account and situation with you to see how we are able to assist.

In the unfortunate circumstance your service is disconnected, additional deposit, disconnection, and reconnection charges may apply as indicated on the red card notice. The computer and phone systems sometimes take more time to reflect the additional charges. All billed and pending charges are required to be paid for service reconnection. In some cases, the unbilled deposit and reconnection fee may be paid with your next bill, and the reconnection may be completed with payment of the past due bills and disconnection fee.

We will bill the deposit and initiation fee for starting new service on your first or next bill. If your existing account requires that a past due balance be paid before starting new service, we can activate your new service once the balance is paid, and you can add any new deposit or initiation fee needed to that payment as well.
