• Fort Christmas Historical Park's FREE Barnyard Banter Historical and Educational Programs are suitable for all ages! On Saturday, December 21, 1-2 p.m., come to the park for Good Old Butter: learn about the art of making butter with hands-on demonstrations.

On the third Saturday of each month, a program is offered for free and is open to the public. Parents and children or grandparents and grandchildren will enjoy learning together about how things were done in the past. Schedule date or class subject matter may change without notice due to weather, speaker availability or other unforeseen circumstance.

With the exception of ADA service animals, no pets are permitted in Fort Christmas Historical Park. Alcohol is prohibited in the park.

Tours and Special Events

• The historic homes, school and fort are open daily, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., including holidays.
• The park includes a replica of a fort built in 1837 during the Second Seminole Indian War; a traditional Florida "Cracker" house and eight pioneer homes; a schoolhouse and lunchroom; a sugar cane mill and other historical farming equipment.
