Bat House Workshops

Participants MUST pre-register at our Eventbrite Page at http://HonorableEmilyBonilla.eventbrite.com.
It is first come, first serve. There will be a waiting list and you will be notified of your registration status. There will be two bat house workshops: first in Winter Park from 9 AM to 12 PM and then another bat house workshop in Union Park from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Description:
The Bat House Workshop is an interactive experience that is free-of-charge to the public. Bat Expert Shari Blissett-Clark will demonstrate how citizens can create bat houses for the benefit of the community and the surrounding bat species. The bat houses created at the event will be used in Orange County Parks as part of a community grant project.
Requirements for Participants:
Supplies: Bring one cordless screwdriver/screw gun with a charged battery, a Phillips head screwdriver bit and 1/8" inch drill bit (specialty supply is optional) per bat house
Attire: old clothes, closed-toed shoes and gloves
Adult-supervision for children under 18 years old (only school-aged children can participate)
Participants must register with Shari to fill out safety form
Bring water and snacks
