Description:The request is to change the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) designation of the 4.06-acre subject property from Activity Center Mixed Use (ACMU) to Planned Development-Commercial/High Density Residential (PD-C/HDR). The undeveloped site is zoned PD (Planned Development District) and is currently known as the Commercial Building PD, entitled for the development of up to 199 hotel units and 20,000 square feet of commercial uses. The concurrent Change Determination Request (CDR) entails the proposed amendment of the Commercial Building PD Land Use Plan (LUP) to establish a new development program of up to 20,000 square feet of commercial uses or 166 multi-family units under a new PD name, the Apopka Vineland Multi-Family PD.
